Summary of 2023

Looking back on the few memorable events of 23, take this opportunity to review the actions of 23.

Life#

  1. Overall, family life tends to be stable, and the performance in the roles of husband/father/son is barely satisfactory. Thinking more than doing.
  2. Married to my wife for 5 years and known for 7 years, now referred to as dad by the child, doing less and less as a husband, can't feel the word "care" anymore.
  3. The child suddenly clings to me, but I don't know how to be a good father, often feeling anxious and powerless.
  4. At the end of June, my mother underwent surgery for atrial fibrillation, and I didn't accompany her to the hospital throughout the hospitalization, which was inappropriate. In a blink of an eye, I already have elderly parents and young children, mentally feeling like a child, not taking on the responsibilities and obligations I should have.
  5. My body started to give warnings, had a kidney stone surgery in the first half of the year, found kidney stones in the year-end physical examination, and occasionally felt chest tightness in the heart, not paying attention to exercise and being too lazy.
  6. The relationship with my brother has improved, emotional intelligence still needs to be improved.
  7. In October, I set up a personal blog, synchronously write for WeChat public account and Xiaohongshu, the original intention was to make some money, hoping to persist.
  8. Started listening to podcasts on the way to work, realizing that my knowledge is too limited, feeling more and more the gap in abilities and the inadequacy in actions.
  9. Completed the family budget for 24, and started to really keep accounts with my wife, gradually improving the stability of family finances.

Work#

  1. The company's operation has encountered some problems, everyone is worried, hoping the company will get better, but no idea what to do.
  2. Did some meaningful projects this year, widely applied in business, but personal growth has clearly slowed down, unsure about the future.
  3. Planning to create my own studio in the future, currently have no idea where to start, how to break down the goal, and how to prepare.

24-Year Plan#

  1. Read 6 books (one every two months, hoping to complete), improve emotional intelligence to provide more stable emotional value for the family.
  2. Reduce weight to 130 pounds through exercise, improve health, and enhance the family's risk resistance.
  3. Break down the goal of creating a studio, take the first step, and slowly start trial and error.
